Mike's Hauling Service is a full service, bulk item removal company. This means that all you have to do is point and we will carry it out to the dump truck and take it to the landfill. We have never met a load that we couldn't handle, and we speak from 20 years of experience.

We can haul away furniture, appliances, construction debris, miscellaneous junk and household trash. We can haul away anything except hazardous waste, which includes oil and latex paints, herbicides, pesticides and fertilizers.

We have large dump trucks and charge by the truckload or partial truckload. Average rates start at the minimum charge of $75, for example, a sofa or a large refrigerator. Our rates generally become more expensive, depending on the amount of space taken up on our trucks. We are able to save you money, by loading the bulk items as effectively as possible.

Our prices include all labor and dump fees. Heavy material may involve a surcharge for excess weight.

We do free estimates, so you know what you are dealing with at the start. No hidden surprises.

We have been in the junk removal business for 20 years. We are a small owner-operated company based in Silver Spring, Maryland. The owner, Mike Carmody, is a native of Montgomery County. We service mainly Washington DC, Montgomery and northern Prince George's Counties.

We provide residential and commercial trash removal, and consider ourselves bulk item hauling experts.

We strive to arrive at the job on time, provide friendly, efficient service, and do all of the loading and cleanup.

We are licensed, insured and bonded.

We recycle and donate whenever possible.
